What is P2P Schools?
P2P Schools stands for Peer-to-Peer Schools which provide education
through online services, using the Internet and other forms of
communication, as well as person to person, classrooms, and anywhere else
education can take place. The purpose is to create a Learn Anything,
Anytime, Anywhere Education that is meaningful and relevant to the student
learner.
P2P Schools will create opportunities for people to learn, not just from
formal teachers, but also from each other, and at one’s own pace. The
concept is simple to understand, and yet powerful in it’s ability to
convey information, knowledge and even wisdom to many people. While formal
schools can help many people an education, it often leaves out millions,
even billions of potential students who cannot afford them or even have
the means to reach them. P2P Schools seeks to allow people to find the
learning they desire, and get it to them no matter where they are at in
the world or their financial circumstances. By using the power of the
Global Internet, the innate skills of the volunteers as well as educators,
and the desire of students to learn, we are building a comprehensive
system to provide knowledge to anyone who wants a education, anytime,
anywhere, and at their own pace.
